There is an abundance of information out there that gives you conflicting information about what ‘diet’ you need to follow, what’s best for your health (coffee’s good…then it’s not), and how much exercise you need to do. It can be a bit overwhelming. My hope is that I will be able to help provide knowledge and resources to help you make sustainable lifestyle changes that help you live healthier — however that may mean to you.

What is health?

Well, health can mean a lot of things. It can mean nutrition. It can mean getting exercise. For many, health means the absence of disease. But health is a very broad term and one that encompasses all of these things and more.

So many factors affect your health too, and often, if you look at your health from a holistic approach, you’ll find that those factors are connected. Stress can cause you to not sleep well; not sleeping well can cause you to eat more sugary carbs, which lead to weight gain. It becomes a vicious cycle, but it’s one that can be changed!

My mission is to help provide education and insight to our area to help our community start making healthy changes so we can live well.
